Microsoft has launched Windows Live Mail Beta and Windows Live Messenger Beta. Windows Live Mail allows the user to preview mails and organize messages using drag-and-drop. Windows Live Messenger is an updated version of the MSN messenger.

Windows Live Mail Beta allows the user to:

Preview your messages you can read without leaving your inbox
Drag-and-drop organization
One-click control over junk and scam e-mails
Right-click power-reply, delete, and forward

Windows Live Messenger Beta allows the user to:

Send all your familiar winks and emoticons, plus some cool new ones
Have real-time text, video and voice conversations
Call your friends’ mobile or land-line telephones with Windows Live phone call, and make affordable domestic and international calls**
Easily share documents of all kinds with Sharing Folders

Microsoft has also launched other services for Windows Live such as:

Windows Live Safety Center Beta – which allows online virus scanning, and other PC cleaning services and
Windows Live Favorites Beta – which allows user to save the internet explorer favorites from other computers.
