Yahoo! has launched Site Explorer, a webmaster tool that shows all subpages within a URL indexed by Yahoo!.


Priyank Garg, Product Manager, Yahoo! has announced in Yahoo Search Blog that Yahoo! has launched Site Explorer, a webmaster tool.

According to Garg, the uses of Site Explorer are to:

“Show all subpages within a URL indexed by Yahoo!, which you can see for stanford.edu, here. You can also see subpages under a path, such as for Professor Knuth’s pages.

Show inlinks indexed by Yahoo! to a URL, such as for Professor Knuth’s pages, or for an entire site like stanford.edu.

Submit missing URLs to Yahoo!”

Yahoo! accepts multiple urls and the url submission site announces, “You can also provide the location of a text file containing a list of URLs, one URL per line, say urllist.txt. We also recognize compressed versions of the file, say urllist.gz.”
