New Generation Changes Internet Marketing
New Generation kids and teens aged between three to seventeen increasingly use the internet and are instrumental in changing marketing, technology and communications.
eMarketer’s new report, ‘Kids & Teens: Blurring the Line between Online and Offline’, says kids and teens make up 19% of all US Internet users. This amounts to roughly 32 million children and teens. Most of them have broadband connectivity and the internet is always on.
Debra Aho Williamson, senior analyst, says, “Instead of pushing content at teens, sites should find ways to let teens have some say in the material. Giving teens a sense of ownership is a powerful draw.”
