A new survey indicates increased investiment of direct marketers in online projects with 41% increasing their online budget this year and 57% planning to do it next year.


According to a new survey, direct marketers are allocating 41 percent of their marketing budgets to online projects this year, and 57 percent plan to increase their online spending in 2006.

According to the survey last year, 75 percent of the budget was allocated for traditional marketing channels, whereas this year only 59 percent are allocated to direct marketing.

Most of the budget for online is going to search engine marketing, analytics, and website customization.
