GreenAds, a “values-based online ad network,” is to be launched in October to attract advertisers focussing on an audience interested in social and environmental issues.

GreenAds was launched as a beta version last week. According to the company there are about two million monthly unique visits.

The network includes websites in five categories: sustainability and environment, health and wellness, spirituality and personal development and social responsibility and fair trade. The company has also launched a B2B channel for green business products.

The GreenAds website says, ‘Now in beta mode, GreenAds is a new online advertising network that makes it easy for values-based organizations to reach values-based consumers. These organizations and individuals have the collective power to create a sustainable global economy based on principles of fair trade, public health, and social responsibility. Values-based publishers play a critical role in joining them together.’
