Several TV networks put up sponsored links in search engines like Google and Yahoo to promote their programs.
Marketers at broadcast networks are putting up preview shows online. They buy keywords from search engines like Google and Yahoo and put up their sponsored links. When viewers click on these links they get a preview of the program.
George Schweitzer, president of CBS Marketing Group says, “not everyone is watching all of your spots. You must be out there in different platforms in different mediums. We’re branching out.”
