VerticalResponse has launched a new Application Programming Interface for its self-service email marketing software. The API enables the software to be extended and integrated into other platforms, according to VerticalResponse.
The API also allows businesses to extend their marketing activities.
According to VerticalResponse, the following are the benefits of the new API:
- "Instantaneous transfers of bounce and unsubscribe data fed back to a customer’s central database
- Automated email delivery capabilities as well as transactional emails for automated purposes
- Nightly/weekly synchronization of customer’s contact database with VerticalResponse mailing lists
- Consolidated campaign response statistics reporting".
