Google Founders Sergey Brin and Larry Page helped their friend Reid Gershbein by funding an independent film “Broken Arrows”.

Google Founders Sergey Brin and Larry Page helped their friend Reid Gershbein by funding an independent film “Broken Arrows”.

Brin and Page have provided 50% funds for the movie which has a production cost of almost $1 million.

Reid Gershbein, said, “I can’t say how lucky I am. They were extremely generous.” [Source]

Reid Gershbein became friends with Brin and Page when they were doctoral students in computer science at Stanford University. Gershbein is a computer graphics designer at DreamWorks Animation SKG Inc.
